I can’t believe January 2016 is almost over!! This month has gone so quick but in saying that I managed to fall in love with quite a few products this month.
1. Bourjois Air Mat foundation in 02 Vanilla
I went to Priceline to pick up a back up of my favourite everyday foundation the Bourjois Healthy Mix serum gel foundation and I spotted this one in the new line promo bay of the stand. After reading on the packaging its promises I knew I had to try it out.
The first time I used the Air Mat foundation I found it too thick to work with so I sprayed some MAC Fix plus on my face and it then blended out fairly well but I had to work on it for awhile. Until I discovered the PERFECT brush to apply it with. The Tarte buffer airbrush finish foundation brush.
These two products seem to be made for each other. I absolutely love this foundation for when I need full coverage and when I want my foundation to stay flawless all day and night long. Definitely my HG full coverage drugstore foundation.
2. Innoxa Cover & Correct cream concealer palette
I recently did a review here on this product in my blog. Check it out here.
I haven’t stopped using this product since I got it. Love it so much.
It took my awhile to get onto the bandwagon with this but I’m so glad that I finally did. For only $2.80 from Daiso this is the BEST makeup brush and sponge cleaner I have ever used. Not only does it make your sponge and brushes look like brand new it cuts the cleaning time to less than half it usually takes! I have so many back ups of this product it’s not funny. 🙂
I’ve only had this powder for a week or two but it is the perfect powder to set your makeup. I use it mostly under my eyes to set my concealer and I love it. I’ve been told that it doesn’t have flash back in flash photography. Such an inexpensive translucent powder, definitely worth a try.
This product is a lifesaver! I’ve always been fairly lazy when it comes to doing anything with my brows in my makeup routine but the Brow Satin made having that extra step effortless.
Having a brow pencil on one end and a filling powder on the other it fills in my brows so quickly but also maintaining that natural look. I’m so happy with this product. A staple in my everyday makeup routine now.
6. Urban Decay Moon Dust eyeshadow in Space Cowboy
7. Stila Eyes are the window shadow palette in Spirit
This palette has everything I need to make a quick eye look for work. The shadows are so blendable and easy to work with. Definitely need to get my hands on the rest of the eyeshadow palettes in the set.
Well that’s it for my January favourites I hope your enjoyed seeing what I was loving this month and I would love to hear what your favourites were so I can go try out some new products from your recommendations.
