First Impressions: Morphe Elite Brushes

I’ve heard so many good things about the Morphe Elite Collection brushes that I thought I’d pick up a few in a variety of styles and see if they are worth the hype.

These brushes are incredibly soft and I purchased mine from Makeup Net Australia.

Here’s a break down of the brushes I got in the collection:
1. E2 Round Powder

I will mainly use this for my bronzer but will also occasionally use it to set my face as well. It’s nice and dense and incredibly soft on the face. It picks up the perfect amount of product and just works like a dream!

2. E3 Precision Pointed Powder

This will definitely be my new blush brush! And damn I just remembered as I’m writing this I’ve forgotten to wash my brushes 😦 I’ve got the process down to 20 minutes but I still feel like it’s such a chore.

So anyway as I was saying this brush is perfect for blush or even setting powder down on the under eye area on top of concealer. I couldn’t get over how soft these brushes were on the skin!

3. E27 Pro Round Blender

The E27 is a great blending brush for we you need to diffuse any harsh lines with your eyeshadow and also placing down your transition colour.

4. E17 Crease Precision Blender

As the description on the makeup net website suggests it’s the PERFECT crease brush. It’s places and blends out the eyeshadow in the crease so well. It’s already a favourite of mine!
5. E35 Detailed Smudger

The E35 is a small rounded dense flat brush that’s perfected for detailed work around the eyes. It would work well to use for brow bone highlight as well as inner corner highlight. I used it today for the lover lash line and absolutely loved it!

6. E38 Bent Liner

I’ve wanted an eyeliner brush like this for so long and finally got my hands on this one and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve wanted one so I could do winger liner with my Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks and today I used the E38 with the shade Androgyny and it was so easy to create the perfect wing. It was stiff enough to create a sharp line but soft enough to glide across the skin without pulling at the skin. Perfect liner brush! I need more!!

Do you own any brushes from the Morphe Elite Collection? What are your recommendations? As I would love to get my hands on some more!
