So I’ve had these palettes for a few weeks now so wanted to give you guys a little review and of course some swatches for this Swatch Sunday.
Overall Too Faced shadows as amazing! Easy to blend, smells sooooo good and usually very pigmented. I came across two shades in the chocolate Bon bons palette that I had to really work with to get good colour payoff but besides that I can’t complain.
Chocolate Bon Bons palette
The chocolate Bon bons palette was a palette when first released I thought the packaging was super cute but didn’t think I really needed it. I swatch it in store and boy was I wrong. This palette is so versatile which I love even though I mainly use the Browns but that’s besides the point. I really love this palette and it would be perfect for travel as it has a good variety of shades and with the metal packaging it’s sturdy enough to travel with.
Molasses chip is definitely my favourite shade in this palette. I’m wearing it right now and it’s just a shade that makes me happy. And applying it with a damp brush just intensifies it even more.
Malted is one of the shades in this palette that needed to be built up a lot to get some decent colour payoff. Which I guess is handy when you’re building it up in the crease.
Cashew chew as you can see from the swatch matches my skin perfectly so I love this shade as a base for the rest of the shadows I’ll apply on top.
Bordeaux and Mocha as the perfect outer v and crease shades. Again these aren’t as pigmented as the rest but build up really nicely.
Totally Fetch is such a bright pink which I think would be perfect for a pop of colour on the lower lash line. I haven’t used it yet but when I do that’s the first thing I’m going to try.
Divinity is the perfect brow bone highlight shade if you want to keep that area matte.
I have absolutely no bad things to say about this palette! All shades are very pigmented, blend out like a dream and these are my kind of colours!! This is limited edition but I think in Australia Mecca still has it online, but I could be wrong.
Peanut butter is my favourite shade in this palette. It’s also in the Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette by too faced which I also have so I’m glad I’ve still got a fair amount of this shade left 🙂
Peanut brittle again is another favourite of mine because I’m obsessed with these warm copper brown shades.
Jelly is a shade I haven’t tried but definitely need to put that on my lower lash line ASAP!
