A couple of weeks ago I received a very generous package from Technic Cosmetics for me to try out their products and for me to tell all of you what I think about their products. I got to choose 9 products from a list and am so impressed with the formula of these products!! Technic Cosmetics is a UK brand that’s super affordable and their brand is cruelty free with some products being vegan too, so when I received these products I was really intrigued to see what the quality of the products were like and how they performed.
First impression of this palette and the other packaging is quite cheap feeling, but practical and works well. While I love some heavy, high quality packaging, I am more interested in the actual product and whether the formula actually works so the packaging doesn’t really phase me.
I love the range of shades in this palette. It has a good mix of mattes and shimmery shades. Feeling these shadows at first I was blown away with how buttery and pigmented they are while being really easy to apply on the lids. This is a great palette for every occasion as you can do a light natural look or a glam smokey eye 🙂
I am not the biggest fan of the brush that comes with this palette as the blender side is too stiff for me but the shader side does work well for packing on colour. I am just not really a fan of any brush that comes with a palette. Overall, This is a great eyeshadow palette for under 7 pounds!
This cucumber scented primer spray is a real gem! Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with anything cucumber and having a primer in a spray bottle makes it super quick and easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling moisturised. Not sure if it actually makes my makeup last any longer but I am really enjoying it.
I’m getting into glosses more lately (but matte liquid lipsticks still have my heart) so I was really excited to give this a go. The packaging is great and the applicator is super easy to use. The first thing I noticed when I opened this was the strong sweet scent that it has. It reminds me of those large hard boiled rainbow swirl lollipops you get at the show. The gloss is thick, long lasting but isn’t sticky and really comfortable and moisturising on the lips and at just over 3 pounds it is super affordable!
I love trying out affordable highlighters in the hopes I can find one that is actually blinding and blends well into the skin and isn’t chunky and this palette did not disappoint! The top row are super buttery pressed powders so are a tad more pigmented and blinding over the bottom row which seem to be more baked in texture but still give a gorgeous glow!
I am so picky with my contour palettes as I need the powder to blend out real quick as I hate spending too much time contouring and bronzing, so I also like a powder that isn’t too pigmented so it is easy to work with to build up the right amount of colour. This palette has lighter shades so works well for my fair skin tone and has some cooler shades too which work perfectly for me. These powders are soooooo buttery and smooth! I am super impressed with this palette! They have great pigment but are really easy for me to work with and I can’t stop using it!
This blush palette performs much like the contour palette as they are really buttery shades. You only need a light hand with these blushes as they are quite pigmented but blend out really well so if you apply too much it is fairly easy to tone it down.
This powder makes my skin feel like silk!! It isn’t a fine as my favourite powder (RCMA no colour powder) but it does work well to set my foundation and concealer. I haven’t tested if it flashes back but most powders like this do so i’d stick to using this during the day, away from flash photography.
And lastly these stunning highlighters! I love the pattern on these and are a great affordable blinding highlight. The 24ct Gold one is too dark for me as a highlighter but love it as an eyeshadow.
Overall, I really enjoy all of these products from Technic Cosmetics! the only downside is the packaging feeling really cheap but being so affordable you can tell the money goes into the actual product and formula which is the most important obviously. You need a product to actually work and these all work really well! Have you tried anything from Technic? If so, which was your favourite product?
Disclaimer: I did receive these products from Technic Cosmetics in return for a review on my blog but all opinions are my own. 🙂
