Australis Cosmetics has always been my favourite affordable brand of makeup that I can pick up at Priceline. They are cruelty free, most of their products are vegan, they are always on trend with their products and they’re Australian!! What could be better than that!
So when I saw these new eyeshadow palettes come out I knew I needed them both and I have been blown away with the quality of these palettes. Between the two of these palettes I have every colour I could possibly need to create a huge range of looks.
If you live outside of Australia and want to get your hands on these they offer international shipping to most countries. I’ll link all shipping info here if you need.
They both have a great mix of mattes, shimmers and metallics making the versatile and easy to use.
I use the Neutralize palette most days for work as it’s the perfect everyday palette! I has a matte bone shade that I use to set the concealer on my lids before applying other shades on top, which creates the perfect base to blend out all the other shades, prevents creases and makes my eye look last all day long.
The mattes in this palette are all buttery and pigmented, some needing to be built up slightly more than others but that makes it so easy to create a look without it going too out of hand too quick if you’re like me and heavy handed with your brushes.
The metallics in this are insane!!! They feel like they are out of an expensive high end palette. They apply amazing with fingers or a dry or wet brush, just depends on the intensity you want from the shadows.
I’ve done a heap of looks with this palette now and 100% stand behind this entire palette. It has been my go to lately and i’m using it far more than all of my high end palettes.
Now the Kaleidoscope palette is for those that love bright colours or maybe just want to experiment with colour more. I love doing a neutral eye look on my eye lid then doing a bright blue or green on the lower lash line so thats the main reason I picked this up but also for the matte yellow shade. Unfortunately the yellow shade doesn’t come off as bright as I would have hoped on my eyes and it needs a lot of building up, but it is still stunning if you take the time to work with it.
Now I haven’t had this palette as long as the Neutralize palette so I have only used the top row but I am already really impressed with the palette and I find it consistent with the quality and pigmentation of the Neutralize palette besides the matte yellow.
There is also a great mix of mattes and shimmers in this palette which I love and I can’t wait to try the purple, green and blue shades next. These blended out so easily and were a dream to use. Highly recommend if you are looking for a colourful eyeshadow palette!
Well I hope you enjoyed this review and let me know in the comment section below if you have these palettes and what you think of them. And what look should I do next with the Kaleidoscope palette?
P.s. Had my little helper today while doing this makeup look 🙂
